DCRC is excited to be partnering with LXV Wine of Paso Robles on October 3, 2020, for a 60-minute virtual wine tasting and spice pairing.
This unique evening will be a journey into a selection of LXV’s award-winning wines paired with a specially created mix of spices designed to enhance the tasting experience. It will be unlike any wine tasting you’ve ever done before!
The evening will include a deep dive into the winery and their beautiful property. Our personal vintner will lead us on a journey into LXV’s varied sub-appellations, the influence of weather, selection of clones, old-world philosophy of winemaking, and the importance of pairings giving us a full picture of each pressing. LXV wines will be paired with a carefully prepared exotic spice/seasoning blend, inspired by various regions, traditions, and stories. These pairings mirror, complement, and sometimes, contrast the wine’s flavors, unraveling the deeper, subtle notes. The experience ends with a tour of the property and vineyards; closing out what will be an event you will never forget.
With the purchase of a ticket, you will receive an LXV Tasting Palette containing 3 wine samples and their paired package of spices. Each palette is enough for two people to take this special journey together.
This evening of discovery – our virtual wine tasting to support DCRC – will happen on Saturday, October 3rd at 5:30 PM PST/8:30 PM EST, with our guide, vintner Neeta Mittal. She will teach us about the wine, the region, how to blend the spices and answer any questions. The last day to purchase your LXV Tasting Palette to have it arrive before October 3rd is Sunday, September 27th.
