Systems Change Advocacy
Systems Change Advocacy works to identify, bring attention to and improve issues affecting people with disabilities, including, but not limited to: housing, transportation, public access, employment, and healthcare policies. The Systems Change staff advocates for systemic change on a local, state and national level to ensure that people with disabilities have equitable access.
Systems Change Youth Advocacy
Systems Change Youth Advocacy is a branch of Systems Change Advocacy that specifically identifies and addresses issues affecting the young population with disabilities, including, but not limited to: accessibility, transportation, public access, education, and healthcare policies. The Systems Change Youth Advocate helps the young community advocating for themselves, and speaks up for systemic changes at a local, state, and national level.
Disability Disaster Access & Resources (DDAR) Program
The Disability Disaster Access & Resources (DDAR) Program assists individuals with disabilities and older adults in disaster readiness and recovery.
This program provides individuals with information & assistance, emergency and disaster preparedness education and training, backup electricity support, personal preparedness planning assistance, public awareness, and advocacy; before, during and after disasters or other emergencies like public safety power shutoffs.
